To The Residents of Sugar Grove,

I would first like to thank everyone that took time to exercise their right to vote. I would also like to congratulate Mr. Michels in winning the race. This was a hard-fought campaign and I am proud of what our supporters have accomplished in getting important issues out in the general public.

It is now up to the village board to decide on whether we want to listen to the public or not. To win by 163 votes does not constitute a landslide. Instead it tells us that there are a significant number of residents who are unhappy with the direction that the village is going.

With my remaining two years on the village board, I plan to continue to represent all citizens of Sugar Grove as vigorously as I have in the past. If you have a concern, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to bring your issue forward to the village board.
